How to use this organizer

  1. Select your level and fill in your topic.
  2. Work through each box T → E → D → L in order.
  3. Click "Preview" then "Check my writing."
  4. Read your score. Rewrite it yourself. Regrade.

Topic sentence Respond to the prompt and state your main idea clearly. What is this paragraph about?

Example or explanation Give a fact, quote, or example that supports your topic sentence.

Detail(s) Add more info, a second example, or explain your evidence further.

Link sentence Wrap it up — connect your details back to your main idea. Restate, don't repeat.
