Paragraph Writing Help Tool
A free writing coach built around T.E.D.L. — Topic, Example, Detail, Linking. A student pastes in their paragraph and gets teacher-style feedback: what's working, what isn't, and the rule behind the fix.
It won't correct their work for them. That's deliberate. Students can't copy the output until they've made the corrections themselves.
Feedback translates into more than 10 languages, which makes it usable with multilingual students who understand the concept but not the wording of the correction.
Additional Materials
This is an "I Am Very Real" by Kurt Vonnegut lesson plan with slides that covers Vonnegut's letter to a school board that burned his books — a short, high-interest text for teaching argument, tone, and author's purpose. Works well with reluctant readers who've decided literature isn't for them. Grades 8–12.
Teachers use this video to help struggling writers pass the STAAR ECR. It could also be useful for academic written responses on EOY or EOC exams.
