Students with Unique Learning Needs

Structured, patient support for students who learn differently.

Some students understand ideas clearly but struggle to get them onto the page. Others read slowly, freeze mid-assignment, or have simply been told to try harder — without anyone figuring out why it isn't working.

I work with students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences who need a structure, patience, and a tutor who actually gets it.

    • Understand ideas verbally but struggle on the page

    • Get stuck starting or freeze mid-assignment

    • Read slowly or lose the thread partway through

    • Have tried tutoring before and it didn't stick

    • Don't have a diagnosis but clearly need a different approach

    • Need calm, consistent support over time

    • No shame, no pressure, no shortcuts

    • Genuine patience

    • Step-by-step structure that doesn't overwhelm

    • A focus on building real skills, not just finishing homework

    • Consistency so nothing gets lost between sessions

    • Mental health or therapeutic support

    • Intensive behavioral intervention

    • A quick fix
